alchemy; to make love where there was none.

This is potentially my favourite Pink Floyd track, performed by the Flaming Lips- such an incredible rendition, especially nearing the end. Such a great vinyl to come across at the record store.

Alright, alright, alright.. I’m not usually one for double posting an artist in succession, but really.. I’m loving this girl right now. This song is very much for the Patrick Watson fans. Enjoy!

I really do have a soft spot for female vocalists with uniquely beautiful voices and prominent accents (ie. Julia Stone, Soap&Skin, Björk, etc)- let’s add this newly found gem to the list! Oh and can I also mention that I’m astounded by how terrific everything that manages to make its way out of Iceland is?

Such a lovely track! It at times makes me think of a concoction comprised of an MGMT sound with a lowered voice infused with some sort of Amon Tobin-esque sounds. Wild.
